Marie:
A young girl who can sometimes get a little too curious for her own good. Currently living with Jo, a friend of her father's.

Jo:
A rigger at the local docks. She's looking after Marie while her father is away on a business trip.

Otto:
Harworking dockmaster. Lives in town with his wife and daughter.

Klaus:
Mechanic of the docks and Otto's right hand. He is old.

Matze:
A longshoreman on the docks. Middle-aged, jovial.

Fritz:
A longshoreman on the docks, Fritz is the youngest of the dockhands. Cheerful dispostion, albeit a bit nervous.

Lukas:
He's working as a tallyman at the docks. Reserved and serious.

?????:
A mysterious figure often seen around town...
